I was supporting Obama before it was the cool thing to do.

... I've been supporting him since he first "came out." Something about him "spoke" to me, and now that I'm going to have a chance to vote for him, I'm going to.

Yeah I'm definitely going to give this year some serious thought, seeing as how this is my first year to vote. I'm looking at Obama's and Hilary's site now. Hilary's views aren't bad but Obama's views so far I think are far more interesting. His ideas to help Global Warming is much more structured that Hilary's and it seems he can help more on that issue that she can, and Global Warming is a huge deal for me. I'm still going to read more up on it though.

The first thing I heard about Obama though was that he's 'somewhat' related to Osama Binladen (sp?). If so, I really don't care. I heard he was a very far relative of him anyway, and It seems prejudice to consider him as a bad person just because he may be related to him. He seems like a great person to me. I'm just wondering if what I said is true though, is it?

I bet it's just a really stupid rumor just because the names sound similar.

 

It's because he's got a similar-sounding name. I'm more than sure he's not related to bin Laden, though.

When he first came out everyone was making a huge deal out of their names sounding similar. He even came right out and asked that people stop that because there's no reason for him to be associated with such a man.

 

That's what I thought.. It just seemed strange to me that people would say he's related to Osama, because it just seemed like the only reason people were saying that was because the names sounded similar. He looks nothing like him either. Psh, idiots. Ah well.

 

Figured.

I'm glad I can tell my Dad this though now. He didn't want to even consider voting for Obama because of that rumor, stupidly enough.

 

Man, I can't believe my final exams are on at the same time as MCR playing, I can't go . Oh well, I guess I DO still get to see Muse.

 

I hate crying in front of him. I hate even worse when he cries in front of me.

Fuck. What did I do?

 

You could ask your professors if you can take your exams a day earlier, on the basis that you're going to a third-world country to build an elementary school for sick children.

No one would EVER question that.

 

Tomorrow's FCAT testing and tomorrow I have to take cap and gown pictures. Fun fun.

I just realized that, if the Browns were to beat the Patriots this weekend, it's going to be considered the biggest upset of the year... Because, come on, it's the Browns.
