    Nice news post *raises roof*.

I'm very happy LP has gotten so much recognition this year. I feel as if they've been fucked/slighted over the past few years. This is MTV's chance to pay back for the "ringtone award" debacle with Fort Minor.

If Joe doesn't win Best Director, it'll be a serious snub.

MTV has slighted LP/Joe in the past. Don't be surprised if they do it again.

defenitly LP will scartch Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Beyoncé, Rihanna, And Christina Assess !!!
I'm sure that LP will get all the awards for the videos by god willing :)

there's no place for those losers bands and artists to win against LP .... and IF LP lose in one award, it won't be fair .... coz "What I've done" is the best video in this year ....

LP deserve to be nominated more than three times

Couldn't believe it when i saw it.

Ahaha. I like how music videos are a morning special now too.
Sorry, but aren't Linkin Park one of the most closely associated bands with MTV? Everything they've ever done has been publicized by that company. That cannot be the reason they weren't on the list of performers.

Besides, they have performed many times at the VMAs and it would be nice for some new artists to sow what they have [ie. Amy Winehouse]

Let's just hope that God likes Linkin Park as much as we do.

They've only performed One Step Closer at the VMAs, though I doubt What I've Done would work for an awards ceremony. Bleed It Out, however, would do nicely.

If MTV has any sort of credibility, at all, Linkin Park should at least win two of those awards, if not all of them. I've seen all of the videos and such and I'm pretty damn sure that, without any sort of bias, Linkin Park takes the cake.

But it's MTV, so I really won't be surprised if Linkin Park get their awards taken away from them.

Damn, I can't believe it's only a month from the VMA's already. I swear they weren't that long ago, but I guess they were. I'm glad LP is getting some recognition and nominations finally, of course after 4 years without anything "new" musically it's hard to be nominated for much ;). Hope they win at least one; I'd say best director, but who knows.

Oh yeah, I also remember reading an article about Joe doing some work for MTV2 (commercials and such) along with his film projects. That could've added something on the band's favor. ;)
