What's your opinion of U2?

    I always had the impression that U2 was a widely accepted band but my recent findings say otherwise. I listened to their newer stuff (late 90s-2000s) and they have some good stuff though the songs are a bit repetitive. What's your opinion of U2?

    Joshua Tree aside, I really think U2 isn't that good at all.

    Joshua Tree and Achtung baby are definitely my favorite albums.

    Pretty much, lol. I love U2 but definitely the older stuff is better than the new stuff.

    Some good songs (mainly their older stuff), but most is boring and overrated, IMO.

    U2 is, in my opinion, the best band out there.

    Personally I strongly dislike them and find them extremely over rated

    Extremely overrated? I never hear them on the radio anymore. And not many people in the teenage years seem to enjoy them.

    Totally agree.

    They're all great musicians but I think their music's a thing from the past.

    Really? Maybe you should try other radio stations. I heard 2 of their songs just yesterday.

    I just don't really like them...

    Some of they're music in the 80s was great like joshua tree and war but after that it's pretty boring and overated.
