And im sure people will pirate copies of the game as well, have to say it does make me want to play the game more now since its been banned
Wouldn't say that, the game has been slapped with the dreaded AO rating here in the US. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=166333
This game better be released in the US. I've had my eye on it since it was announced and would be highly dissapointed if it isn't released.
The thing with AO is that you have to be 18 to purchase right? Well with mature ratings, you have to be 18 as well, I believe. So for the most part, it really doesn't matter
Except that Sony (and maybe Nintendo as well, I'm not sure) doesn't allow 3rd-party companies to publish AO-rated games for their consoles, and pretty much every major retailer in the US refuses to carry AO-rated games.
Wirelessly Posted (HTCP4350-Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC)) the difference is, almost all stores refuse to carry ao games so they're impossible to buy
I personally think it's a good thing. I mean, now I can read American Psycho and A Clockwork Orange and watch Planet Terror and Hostel in safety.
