They always seem to play this song and always mix it up. Even though it was never released as a single do you think that its one of there fav songs to play.... I just don't understand why they place this instead of more know songs such as With You or Forgotten
IMO Pushing Me Away is a brilliant song. and yeh, im pretty sure it is 'fun' for the band to play it live.
They havn't really played the orginal since the Hybrid theory days, like Forgotten. the've only seemed to play the remix & now the piano version instead. Strange.
I never did like the Reanimation version but the Hybrid Theory Pushing Me Away is probably my favorite song.
Forgotten sounded horrible back then; it sounded like the bass and Brad had missed a bunch of notes here and there. But it would be interesting to hear Forgotten played at this point of time now they're so used to playing music.
If anything they should start playing it again, considering its Xero's 10th anniversary. They played Reading my eyes last year, why not another Xero song. Fuse anyone?
And Chester's fav. too. Regarding PMA, they 're more used to play the piano version than the original or the remix. And Forgotten, it isn't one of my favourites, but i'd like to hear it. And also I would love to hear more new songs from MTM, especially In Pieces, in the upcoming concerts.
Stick 'N' Move FTW! I love that song. EDIT: Didn't they only say that Papercut sums up the sound of the band best? Not that its their favourite song?
I was under the impression that Points of Authority was their favourite song to play live. I mean, that song is still in the song-list 7 years later, even after songs like A Place For My Head (my favorite from the album) and With You were removed, despite never being a true recognizable single.
I could understand them enjoying Points of Authority. Its an awesome fun to play for some reason, thats for sure.
LP temporarily dropped POA at the beginning of their MTM promotion tour. They didn't play it at the Berlin show, or the London show that I attended, however recoverred it during Bamboozle. That's why I was glad to see it at Download.
yeah, i miss hearing the original version of "pushing me away" live. i've heard the piano version a few too many times now.
There were a couple tours where they didn't play PMA, like the lpu tour and projekt revolution 04... Chester says they are going to play all the 'hits' from Meteora and Hybrid theory and a bunch of songs from MTM at this years projekt rev, so I picture it something like this in no particular order.... 1. One Step Closer 2. Crawling 3. Papercut 4. In the End 5. Points of Authority 6. Somewhere I belong 7. Faint 8. Numb 9. From the Inside 10. Breaking the Habit 11. What I've Done 12. Bleed it out 13. Given Up 14. Leave out all the rest 15. Little things give you away 16. No More Sorrow 17. In Pieces 18. Valentines Day.... The line up is pretty shitty for someone whos seen the band live multiple times in the past. It's cool that we get to see TLTGYA and In pieces live, but all were geting from HT and Meteora is the hits and that sucks. A place for my head should be mandatory for any linkin park show and so should With You. It's also going to be sad to see songs like Don't Stay and Runaway go...Very mundane setlist IMO... They should re-consider...
Argh, that does suck. The singles are so overplayed now. Numb used to be one of my favourite songs now I'm a little sick of it. Although I admit, the changes the've done to some of the songs are fantasic (esp. Faint's outro) that really improve the songs. Looking forward to hearing the MtM tracks live
