you know you do it. just softly sing songs to yourself when bored or something, those kind of songs that randomly you start thinking about, but then can't get out of your head. I have no idea how this came to mind today, but I started singing a song that I, at first, though that I made it up, and then I was like hey, that's an actual song!. so for me, it'd have to be David Draiman of the band Disturbed. I've only heard a few songs by them, but I have the same "power" as his in my voice, and (I think) can attain the same singing voice. when I say power, you might think of someone else like Chester Bennington's screaming voice. if you actually try it yourself, you'll see what I mean when you find the indescribable difference. anyways you give it some thought and tell what you think.
Oh shoot. Sometimes I can sound like Dallas Green, other times I sound like Christian from blindside. I remember one time I decided to scream I sounded like Dan Weyandt from Zao.
I sing in multiple styles. As for songs I've recorded lately, I guess vocal similarities with Zach De La Rocha and Claudio Sanchez have come to my mind. And I can sing AFI like nobody's business.
Chesters on Given Up without screaming, and sometimes Ben from Breaking Benjamin especially on Who Wants To Live Forever
No one, because anyone as bad as me wouldn't be famous enough for me to know who they are and post their name in this thread
both Zack de la Rocha and Davey Havok? interesting range of styles! Zack de la Rocha almost as kind of a lisp, like when he says his s's, it sounds more like sh, like he has an excess of saliva in is mouth
Whoa. That's pretty much my voice. Singing sounds like Dallas Green with no pitch, and my screaming is like Dan Weyandt.
