I did reply, but it has been lost amongst all the post whoring No I didn't, I took history in place of business (Which I deem to be a wise move judging from the people who took Business)

Argh. Yes it was wise. And i did check, but i couldn't find it Anyway, the business paper was a bastard. I just need to find more people that agree with me. I've only got to speak to people from my class, and we found it hard but only because we have a really shit teacher for one lesson a week, and that's what turned up in the exam. Ahhh well. I wish i'd done what you did. Well, not dropped business, but taken history instead of something, because it's pretty much about everything i know, and everything i wanted to do in GCSE history.

Did you do just normal business? Because theres a business exam tomorrow at my school from what Ben said Then again, I think that might be double applied or something crazy

What was on the history course you could have done? We're doing all about Hitler/Nazi Germany and Russia next year I think. So in other words, interesting history Not pissing votes for women and black civil rights

Yeah, i just did normal business. I do business, politics, ICT and music. I wish i'd have done history instead of ICT, because at college we do year one as Wiemar Germany (basicly pre-war germany) in the first year, then Communist Russia and the Cold War in the second year, which is basicly everything i'm interested in recent-history-wise. I'm somewhat hoping i fail an exam this year round, so i can drop that and do History AS.

Sounds like an interesting course actually. Wouldn't have minded something war related (aside from the coursework) for AS. Would have been more interesting than politics (Sorry, bores me to tears )

 

Ahh politics is great! It's my favourite lesson, simply because we get to learn how corrupt governments are And as far as i'm aware, there's no coursework for the history course at college. Teachers at college avoid coursework like the plague if they can

 

Try the politics relating to Votes For Women You'd ace our AS history course. It's all about governments and how corrupt they were/are.

And no coursework as you know really would kill me. That'd be a fail right there

Ahh i'm shit at coursework, but i have a tendancy to ace exams, so college is ideal for me. But yeah, we don't learn about shit like votes for women and such, just about how the UK polliticalsystem works compared to others, and it's just really interesting, obviously only if you're minded that way though, else it'd probably bore the shit out of you But i am seriously regretting not taking history. The only reason i didn't was because ithought it'd be coursework based, and because it was so shit at GCSE, so i did music instead.

 

BOO-YAH!

 

A level history is hard, it requires a lot of knowledge and the way the essays in the exams have to be written is completely different to GCSE and any way it was done in the past, which I found hard to adjust to in the beginning.
