In a picture recentely posted on Julien-K's official website, it seems as if Julien-K has inadvertedly revealed the official tracklist (if not most of the songs) off of Chester's upcoming solo album, set to be released under the moniker Dead By Sunrise. Originally named Snow White Tan, this band features all members of Julien-K (with Chester on lead vocals) and is believed the final result of Chester's long awaited and highly anticipated solo project, originally set for release this year but now rumored to be pushed until sometime in 2008.

While it should be noted that absolutely no confirmation has been given by either Chester or Julien-K in response to this story, the image features several already well known Chester solo tracks such as "Morning After" and "Let Down" the latter of which was only performed once for the MTV ReAct Now: Music For Relief concert back in 2005. Also of interest is the fact that "Morning After" is listed twice suggesting that the first is the album version, with the other more than likely being the Julien-K remix featured on the official Underworld: Evolution soundtrack which was released in early 2006 in compact disc format.

We will try our hardest to get a definitive answer on this over the next few weeks, but for the time being, here is the tracklist transcribed to the best of our abilities (thank you Tasta):

    Morning After
    Let Down
    Mr. Suffering
    Darkness
    N^LU
    Wall of Sound
    Instrumental
    Fire
    Hold Life
    20 (infinity symbol) 2
    Give Me Your Time
    Introutro
    Walking in Circles
    Morning After

PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME TRACKS MAY BE WORKING TITLES AND NOT THE FINAL SONG NAME.

Further proof can be found by going to www.julien-k.com/scene, and then by clicking on "Fun" and going to picture #7. By viewing this gallery you will also be able to find pictures of Chester and Julien-K rehearsing "Let Down" at Ryan Shuck's house before it's official TV debut.

Discuss your thoughts in the official thread which can be found here!

A big thank you must go out to Hahninator (for alerting us to this great find) and to Astat for even taking the time to transcribe the song titles.

I'm really excited and eager to hear what this sounds like. It's going to be weird and you gotta stop and think about it. Chester's voice has matured and has become very melodic and beautiful on MTM; so what does that mean for this album that was created/"finished" over a year before MTM was finished. Will the songs represent his voice from pre- or post MTM? Or is it going to be a completely different voice from either album. I'm very excited, hopefully Julien-K inadvertantly leaks it to someone

i think that his voice won't sound like anything before. Neither will do the melodies.
When I listen to Grey Daze songs, I often think like - "wow, so much has changed"?
So I believe that this one's going to be so damn untypical ^^

Chester´s Voice is post MTM. He said it is a far cry from nu metal and Dead By Sunrise draws influences from The Cure, Depeche Mode and Bahaous (sorry if mispelled). I´m very interested in listening to this post punk/alternative rock project.

Maybe it's just but it looks like "N2U" with the 2 leaning over a little.

:edit: On second look maybe not.

If you haven't heard "The Morning After" remix, check it out.

I cannot honestly get this song out of my head, it's so good. I'm extremely excited for this album to come out. Kind of reminds me of older LP mixed with Orgy. Hence the members in the band.

They didn't work with a producer or what? I feel this is just something they wrote fast for the fun of it.

Anyway that might be the best way to catch a bands energi.

Uh yes it does. It's the same board layout LP used when recording Minutes To Midnight. Basically its used for the band to know which songs have recorded guitar, bass, drums, vocals etc. on and which ones need work.

    You should know this.
