Eh, 14 weeks is better than nothing I guess.

Yeeep, it was a toss up between Anberlin or Norma Jean/ Every Time I Die.
The girl I'm going with is intent on moshing with everyone, even though a) it's an Anberlin concert, and b) she's tiny . So I'll have my hands full, but it should be awesome

 

Must've been a pretty hard decision then. Haha, good luck with the girl. ;]

Typical, us Australians either get everyone at once or none at all. I'm still not too pleased I missed the Saosin concert last weekend. Bah.

Missed Saosin? Now that must've sucked big time. They've never been to Sweden, though...which sucks.

 

They've never been to Sweden? That's weird, because they were only here last October I think, so that's twice in a bit over six months. Unfortunately because they've just been here, they won't be coming to the Aussie leg of Taste of Chaos later this year

Oh well, I guess seeing Anberlin kind of makes up for missing Saosin.

 

If they have been to Sweden, then I haven't been told about it or they've been to our capital city...which is far from my city. =/

Eh, I just checked Saosin's MySpace, all the tour dates are in America dammit.

I'll probably end up going to ToC with this girl anyway, seeing as she's going, but the only band there that I'd want to see is Rise Against. The Used? Aiden? 30STM? No thanks. And yet both Saosin AND Senses Fail are on the American leg of ToC but not ours. *Headdesk*

 

They should have more European and Australian (=P) dates.

I'd go just to see The Used and Rise Against. A pity both Senses Fail and Saosin aren't going there. Those'd be the awesomest.

 

Yes, yes they should. I swear, it's like Europe (apart from England and maybe Germany) and Australia don't exist to most bands.

Well there ya go, I'm going for RA then, which means I should probably buy the tickets soon. Oh wait. Shiiiiiit. I just realised the dates for ToC just happen to coincide with my finals exams, which I just sort of need to get into university. God-freaking-damn-it. Bugger it, I'll try to figure something out

 

Rock am Ring's in Germany...fuck, I'm jealous. And yes, Europe and Australia are pretty much "invisible".

Rise Against are good, so they're worth it, methinks. I'd say "screw finals exams", but these exams seem important...meh, you'll figure something out.

 

Yeah Rise Against do seem worth the ticket price alone.

Well, see I think of it this way, if I do well at these finals exams, I can get into university, and then just defer my enrolment for a year. Then, next year, I can travel and go to Download, Rock Am Ring AND Ozzfest. SCOOOOOORE
