This is the point where I get in my car and go in search of the beast.

Haha! This is when I just wait for it to pass before I go to bed (it's almost 11 PM here.) Hope people on here or TV will entertain me for a little while.
Oooh lightning, sweet.

 

Get a camera and put it on long exposure (bulb) mode, point it towards the lightning, and take 20second exposures. Or look for tornadoes.

Dude, that looks awesome. Well, I don't think I have to worry about tornadoes, I'm in New York, we don't get tornadoes. And so much for a "severe thunderstorm warning" it's clear already. Oh well, I was actually looking forward to a big storm.

 

Where in NY do you live? Nexrad can really solve the "will I get to see a lot of lightning" question
