Recentely as part of promotion for Minutes To Midnight, Chester Bennington held a video interview with Blender Magazine where he explained some decisions they made on the album, as well as where they have been in the last four years. It is truly a great watch and should not be missed. Enjoy! Click Here To Watch!
The video kept lagging for me, but it's nice to know they're going to up the speed with future albums. 4 years was torture.
do they really do drugs? I knew Chester used to be a crackhead and stuff, but im not sure if they all still do them, lol.
Chester keeps saying "Ya know". I know how that feels, I keep doing that too for some reason... ya know...
They may, but I think he was joking, do you see the laugh? Pretty sure it was a joke. About the video: Not a bad interview (for what it was) Is it longer? I'd like to see the rest of it.
This was a pretty good interview. I'm also kind of glad to hear that albums will be coming out quicker than usual. I just hope that the increase in pace doesn't leave out any essential elements in making awesome albums.
I think LP have it in them to record like an album a year. Band's like bad religion are releasing new albums like theres no tomorrow and the quality has always been pretty consistent from what i can tell. With M2M, linkin park have proven that they aren't just a great numetal band but actually just great songwriters in general.
"Keep doing what you're doing as long as you're having fun..." Well, if the recent live performances of songs like "Bleed It Out" count as any measure to the fun they are having I'd say we could expect to see LP around for quite some time. I think this interview was good because you got a more "humble" approach compared to some of the print interviews that have been causing the guys some drama. 2012, let's hope we have a new album far before then. Let's aim for a new LP, Chester's solo album, and a new Fort Minor.
I heard something about him being addicted to drugs in the past too... but surely it wasn't actually crack? Id say coke's the most likely... but anyone know the actual fact? I honestly wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if they all smoked pot here and there. They look like they do
Nice. I think and hope they will release a live dvd at fall and then spring/summer 2008 we will have a new album. Or maybe Chesters new project gets in the way of that..
I think it will go like this, Chester's "Dead By Sunrise" solo band will release the next album, followed by Shinoda's second "Fort Minor" album, and then Linkin Park's fourth album, all in the span of two and a half years. 3 albums by December 2009, not bad.
