Yeah by one day, but here's why: Pirates of the Caribbean theatre release is gonna be a bit earlier than previewed thanks to Spiderman. Spiderman beat the record of the 3 days opening and Jack wants his revenge (Dead Man's Chest held the previous record). Disney just decided that the movie will now be released on the Thursday 24th at 8PM (4 hours sooner) Sources: rottentomatoes and pirates3news Also you can find a couple new clips from the new movie on pirates3news. I know that this news by the way isn't much but I figured it'd be good to start up a new Pirates 3 thread anyway seeing as how the release date is getting close. I don't really care who beats what record, it is lame though that Pirates is trying to fight for that record. I know they'll get enough money from this movie anyway, but oh well.

Both Jack Sparrow and Spiderman are awesome. But cant wait to see the battle at world's end in the midlle of the whirpool!!
Spiderman 3 sucked, so it'll be nice to see a movie worthy of the record. Btw, though Transformers is all hyped up and the idea of it seems cool, I honestly think it's going to suck. Looks like another great movie turned into a cheesy romantic novel.
Holy...Crap dude. There's a story line and everything in that movie I hope Pirates fails for the sole fact that they just want to break the record.
I'm sure tons of people saw the showing of POTC 3 tonight. I just got back from seeing it and I personally loved it. The humor was a lot different to me than the first two movies.. a lot stranger actually lol. I liked it though. It was the best out of the three IMO.
You know what's funny about that? The remake of my 6th great grandfather's ship the HMS Bounty is in that movie and in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
