now that we have the whole song, I hope someone can figure it out If not, Ill know by wednesday when i go to my guitar lesson. Also, if this is not allowed, please delete
http://download.yousendit.com/23BCFE667979FA9F - here is my tab for guitar pro 5. it's not whole song - only intro and chorus. i'm going to finish it later when HQ version will be released.
That tab is ok, I would just change the palm muted notes to chords, also, the solo is missing a few notes, but other tahn that, good job EDIT The solo is actually really close I just tried playing it. I made a few adjustments, and I think it sounds a little closer now SOLO E#-------------------7------------------------6--------- B#---7--7--7--7--7--------7---7--7--7--7-----9--7--7 G#-8--8------------------8--8-----------------------8--
Seems to be that Mike's in drop D and Brad's in either drop D or standard tuning. Hard to tell from the video though since they're just miming, and I still hear a low C in the chorus so I'm kinda stumped.
I played this and it sounded good: Drop D Intro - Mike __pm e--------------------------------------------------------------------------------| B--------------------------------------------------------------------11111111-| G--------------------------------------------------------------------00000000-| D-77---5-5-5-5-5-5-5-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-10-10-33333333------22222222-| A-55---5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-10-10-33333333-33333333-| D-xx---5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-10-10-33333333----------------| then for the solo its like 10 on the b string to 12 on the G something like that.
Soon it will be figured out, theres alreay a few close tabs out there. And if all else fails, my guitar teacher will tab it out in no time
lol id love to see how your guitar teacher thinks this song is played. you cant just tab this song out be ear accurately. your gonna need live videos dude theres just too many ways to play this song
here is some help for anyone trying to tab the song..... to hear all the guitar more clearly ( except the bridge) if you have a good audio recording program.. import it flip the phase on the left or the right (not both) sum it into mono gives a pretty good picture of the guitar edit: if anyone is confused on why you would do this post here and i will explain it later cause it is to late tonite for me to explain it
I hope I can try it tomorrow with my teacher, because he has to fix my guitar and its only a 30 min lesson edit Yeah, we didnt get to do it today, but my guitar is fixed edit again I found this http://ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/l/linkin_park/what_ive_done_ver2_guitar_pro.htm and it seems really correct.
