Fun interview.

Here's to hoping it will. What I've Done still doesn't top any of the Hybrid Theory songs in my opinion though. Nevertheless, it's still an awesome song.

yes I sure hope that they will be quicker on their next album .... I mean ... like 150 songs and now there only will be about 15 tracks on the album.. it would be fine by me if they just released more songs, even if they consider them "less"

dammit. I asked Mark if I could do an edited rip yesterday (without the actual song so its allowed) and he said sure. so right when I finish editing and uploading it, I check the LPA homepage to see what admin I could notify that I had a rip of it, "thanks to mark t., we have an exclusive rip!" :'( OH YEAH, WELL HIS HAS EXTRA STUFF AT THE END. lolz

I think the other material on the album will interest you more. I personally think that What Ive Done is a good song, not great, but good, and i think that they picked this song for their single because its mellow but catchy--> they're playing it safe with their single, i think. i think that if ur a LP soldier (hahaha_im so stupid) that you'll really enjoy the album. im hoping everyone will be pleasantly surprised with LP's new sound.

 

I think that no matter how this album sounds, I'll enjoy it because it is Linkin Park and I've been loyal to them for way to long to just consider anything of theirs garbage.

The music video's great. But I think Mike's starting to look pretty old. He should go back to how he looked in the Hybrid Theory days.

 

I prefer Meteora look

 

One thing that's interesting i think is that people think this album is going to destroy Hybrid Theroy. Why does it have to do that? HT to me is one of the best albums I have ever heard. MTM can be just as good but in an entirely different light, and I think that's the point. It's not trying to be better than HT or Meteora, it's just trying to do it's own thing. And this song seems like a transition to that.

I'm so excited about this album and just like Ed Greene said, it'll be great because it will be it's own entity. Meteora felt much too formulaic and was essentially HT- part 2. From everything we've heard this album is pushing Linkin Park to the limits we always thought they could reach.

 

cool, LPA rocks. i'll have to give it a listen later on my lunch break [at work right now]. i like the album cover, it's a kind of moving on from the old style, look, and feel of LP and moving in this newer direction. i like the minimal approach to it just to keep it as a "blank slate" with all the white in it. good stuff!
