Ladies put down the handbags eh?

I'm not gonna believe any story about who's heard the single or whatever until it's from a reliable source and even then I'll need some form of proof. ProEdge, sorry to say this, but everyone is going to think you're bullshitting them if you don't have any proof. ;)

One cool thing to maybe keep in mind is that iTunes for a lot of the more popular bands will show a prerealease early, so maybe when they release the single digitally they will also release the track list.

    Good thought!

They released Avril, Good Charlotte, Nine Inch Nails all early.

Hopefully they will do LP, and besides, its only 6 weeks.

Hey you're exactly right...I see that on iTunes ALL the time, like for instance the Nine Inch Nails new CD was put up a few weeks ago, but you could only buy Survivalism. That's awesome.

    *can't wait till April 2*

 Was I being referred to as a lady with a handbag? I didn't even think we were fighting.. I just didn't want them to waste their time asking all these questions when it doesn't really matter if they heard the song or not.

About the iTunes thing, though, do you even think LP has a tracklisting done?

forget Itunes. I am getting music the old fashioned way. Im going to Best Buy and get the special package of the new LP album. Then the CD will be like a book on a shelf, forever dusty and something to show guests.

Oh I'm doing that too. But still we can have track lists and artwork maybe a little earlier, plus those who are stuck somewhere and can't get the CD the day it comes out can listen to clips.

But yeah, I'll be at Best Buy May 15 to get one.

Apologies if this sounds like the most incompetent question ever asked but will the single, "What I've Done" - will the CD single be released in shops on April 2nd? Just by what Mike says, it sounds like April 2nd is the radio release, and then shortly after it will be released on itunes and in stores.

    A tad confused.

It'll mostly be released near the end of april/early may. Not 100 percent sure though.

    Thanks for answering. Appreciate it.

I assumed it was being released April 2nd in stores, damn.

Ah well, may as well download it and then wait till the single appears in the shops.

I wouldn't say so. I'm only 16 but I consider going to the record store like Virgin or HMV the old fashioned way. The only reason why I rarely do that though is because the prices in store for some CDs are fucking ridiculous. In Virgin Megastore I saw the special edition of Killswitch Engage - The End Of Heartache for £24.99. Thats the american equivilant of like nearly $50. Online I bought it from PLAY.com for £11.99. 99.9% of the time you'll find the CD cheaper on the internet than in store.

    1. Random much?
    2. Lay off the crack.

I wish the CD would leak already, just to get everyone to shut up for five minutes

Okay...wow..no you made me feel really old at 20.^_^
I've only been to a record store once, and that was because a friend gave me a gift certificate for there. Everything else I have bought at Best Buy, generally because it's cheaper. It may be a regional thing too, because I'm pretty sure most of my friends have never been to a record store and either get it online or Best Buy.

You think the cd will actually be the whole five minutes long?
    I hope so :)

Can you imagine 20 years from now, when downloading from Bittorrent is the 'old-fashioned way'?
