I do. I mean, there's gott abe SOMETHING out there. I mean, look how big it is, the universe goes on forever. Speaking of the universe, ever wonder just how far it really goes? That creeps me out.
I absolutely refuse to believe we're the only intelligent lifeforms in this universe. It's just impossible that we're the only animals that could have evolved to the point we have. Somewhere out there..there's a civilization as advanced as ours if not more. I'm betting on it.
Given the size of the universe I think you would have to be very narrow-minded to believe we're the only intelligent species out there.
Wow. I meant to click the first option, then....missed lol. Well, yes I do believe it is highly probable they exist.
They exist "Scientist" or astronomers (sp) have like, dated back to the big bang. It's been hell of a damn long time for us to like..be created on Earth. Something else has got to be out there tooo! Like...um... If God Created us, Why wouldnt he make one more race? just for fun? Somewhere out in the universe, that expands like a popped ballon, forever releasing air...and jelly.. Okay maybe not jelly....
Yeah, they visit me all the time. >_> Ok not really, but I believe 100% that they exist somewhere out there, and I personally think we've almost certainly been visited by them at some point.
I believe that too. The only thing that bothers me is that it would be impossible for them to communicate with us. Since the speed of light is the fastest you can go and it would take centuries to reach us... I think it's more likely that the universe is a circle and we're just in a stage of it, like other solarsystems would be further or a little back in the circle. I also think there's another Earthlike planet out there, but it's just way back or way ahead in the circle and that's why we can't find life on it... I don't know.
Do I believe in little green/grey men with huge black eyes? No Do I believe in life outside earth? Of course If there is an infinate amount of space then we need to open our minds to the fact that there is an infinate amount of possibilities. Life outside earth is almost a certainty.
I think that about sums it up. Besides, 'In a Short History of Nearly Everything' there's a very good statement, along the lines of that the nearest planet with life could as well be millions of light years away, meaning that there is little chance some aliens would undertake a journey that will take them probably many, many years, probably more than then live, even if they travel at the speed of light to look for some planet out there which may also have life? So, there is little chance of discovering them but they almost definelty MUST exist, because the universe is huge. It's...everything. I hope I made sense.
Existence of these possibilities creates questions. Always. For every question, there is always an answer. Nevertheless, new questions are created from these answers. Its part of the cycle of existence. I agree with the green little men statement.
I don't believe until I see it, but stories and superstitions make people think that they are true, even though they haven't seen one exept on video cams.
