I'm not sure if my res added some filter to the internet (I highly doubt they would at a university), but a whole bunch of websites can't be displayed for me all of a sudden. Any idea why this might have happened?

My dad told me something about this... Apparently there is a virus going around affecting loads of sites...

    Hope this helps :)

Your university hates you. That's all there is to it.

Like Miaz said, it could be because of a virus. But I'm not sure.

    What error do you get?

Check your HOSTS file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
It has no extension, just open it with notepad. If there's any entries at the bottom, except 127.0.0.1/localhost then you should delete them.
