This was awesome. Thank you so much for putting this online for all of us.

I remember picking up Live in Texas after I had seen them live at the Summer Sanitarium Tour. While I greatly enjoy it, it really felt like something was missing compared to the show I saw in St. Louis. The album felt, well, packaged.

Now that I have this set all loaded on iTunes (I downloaded the MP3s), I can remember Linkin Park live like they REALLY are.

This really means a lot.

 

I was at this show, and it was awesome. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

 

For people that don't know, this same show has circulated for a long time, but it was missing everything after A Place for My Head. Just in those few tracks that were missing until now, there's so much good stuff:

-Joe messes up the first note of Crawling AGAIN (he does it at Rock Am Ring 2004 as well lol)
-They do part of A.06 and when they stop right when Chester goes to scream, he goes off on a rant to Brad, causing the whole band to screw up their first attempt of Wish
-Brad goes into Sweet Child O' Mine, and him, Rob, and Chester (and Phoenix for part of it) play the entire first verse and chorus, which is a lot more than they did when they played it in 2001 (typically they'd just do the intro and 2nd verse and quit)
-During Wish, Chester makes a small lyrical change that you might not catch on your first listen..."Don't think you're having all the fun, you know me, I HATE MIKE SHINODAAAAAA!"
-There are also fireworks at the start of Crawling and throughout One Step Closer.

 

Haha Tasta, you're right, i dint pick up on when Chester goes "I Hate Mike Shinoda." But that is gold! Its worth downloading the song just for that

 

I think that the quality is really good for a bootleg. Anyway, the bridge between Figure.09 and From The Inside is totally awesome. Hopefully LP will continue doing those connections between songs on the new album.

I am currently listening to In The End. Did you notice that Brad messed up with the guitar once again? In the second verse he fails and suddenly plays the PMA verse. Very funny!

 

I actually posted the clip of that in the "Is Brad a good guitar player?" thread about a month ago. I've always held the belief that he did it on purpose because there really isn't any sign of a mistake, he just randomly starts playing the PMA part.

 

u guys should pick the mountain view.mp3 folder instead of the linkinpark04.....one . the mv folder has all the songs in mp3 format.
