CM Punk was depushed because: a) He was making out with Maria in Iraq alot, and infront of Linda McMahon, and b) Finlay and someone else don't like him apparently.
Ok, watched the Wrestling Society X debut tonight (they actually "premiered" it tonight. That's right, MTV: We Hate Money) and here's my two cents on it: -On one hand you had Jack Evans vs. Matt Sydal which was just about 3 minutes of down right insanity. You know the show was an half-hour, so these guys had to step it up a notch and holy crap. If you love your spotfests, check this one out. -On the other hand, the huge giant battle royal of death. I'll be honest when I say that it was pure downright crap. Looked like something XPW cooked up...then again, the producer is the creator. Somewhere in this world, Rob Black is laughing cause he has his own TV show now. (Not really, just stating). Fake explosions, mass insanity, I swear there was one minute it looked like Russo turned hardcore on us. Yeah, I love hardcore wrestling as much as the old school E-C-DUB fan, but this was just awful. So yeah, stay for the wrestling, go do something else for the crazy shit. Let's just hope we don't see MTV style antics or people of that type on. Probably will though. Least I got to see New Jack...that's always cool. Even if this is the only time you'll see him there.
Those matches sound interesting. I'd like to see who wins out of Batista and 'Taker because one hand it should only be fair that 'Taker maintains his wrestlemania streak but on the the other hand is Vince gonna give him the title again? The Cena/Orton/Edge thing will probably be another Cena win. I have a feeling Orton might get this though.
Word is that Batista is going to break Taker's streak. But what do I know. And I would rather have a four-way between Cena/Orton/Edge/HBK instead of HBK getting involved with Vince and Shane again.
Taker will win. He won the rumble and usualy the person who wins the rumble wins their wrestlemania match.
Here's the good news where it doesn't show...if he gets released and goes to TNA....he can go back home where he truely belongs in ROH.
http://www.wrestling-news.com/artman/publish/article_3075.shtml Konnan is in serious trouble. And the wrestling community should definitely help out.
I've heard two reasons why they pulled it. One was that they had really low ratings. And two was that there was a stunt where some guy (don't know his name) basically shot a fireball into Vampiro's face. And then executives at MTV didn't think it was right.
I agree. As much as I love the WWE, I haven't been into as much as I have with TNA lately. So many great new talents there. LAX has got to be one of my all time favorite tag teams.
Apparently WSX gets pulled because they think kids will try to throw fireballs at each other... ...As if kids aren't going to try 630 splashes and corkscrew moonsaults? Or even throw each other off ladders and into tables? That makes no sense. I think WSX has potential, assuming that MTV would take it seriously. I've always heard about talent like Hart and Evans, but never got to see them actually perform aside from YouTube videos, but then WSX came along and gave me a new fix of wrestling; spotfests. It's a breath of fresh air from the other promotions that I can currently watch. The good news is apparently they're only pulling the upcoming episode, however due to contracts, they have to show about ten episodes. Either way, I hope WSX keeps going. I don't care if it's not "real" wrestling or not, it's something different and considering it's only thirty minutes a week, I'm sure even the most "hardcore" of fans can stomache that.
I love WSX. I hate people bitching about it because it's too "hardcore" for them, well suck it up, you don't like it, go watch a 90 minute hold fest. It's something different at least, and since they only have a half hour to do so, they go balls out, like a "Crash TV" sort of thing.
I have to admit. WSX was good to watch for being different. Especially since it was all hardcore. But I just couldn't get into it.
