Silverchair's new single, Straight Lines, is available on the official myspace. Also, the band is holding a contest to create a video clip from an edit of the video, and the best edit will get played on Australia's number one music tv show, Video Hits. I like the song, Silverchair's back! The new album, Young Modern, comes out March 31, 2007. And by the way, Daniel Johns looks not-so-good now. Shoulda kept his Neon Ballroom/Diorama look.
He was anorexic in those days though...... But anyway, I have always loved Silverchair. I have missed these guys so much and I am so happy that they are making a return. It's about time, too. I need to check out the song later though. Damn filters at work.
*sigh* nevermind. Can't wait for the new album. These guys have made a great impact in my life. Glad they are back.
I wouldn't call myself a huge Silverchair fan, I do love Cemetary, Anthem for the Year 2000, and Ana's Song. I think this song is very good. Very Coldplay-ish. Can anyone recommend me some other good Silverchair songs? Something like Anthem, which is my favorite of theirs from what I've heard.
The song that got them famous "Tomorrow" I love that song, one of the best aussie songs ever. If you havent heard it, you need to. and I just heard the new song, its great, I'll definately be buying Young Modern
I recommend checking out their "Best of" cd. You might find songs on there to your liking. And listen to their Diorama album as well.
