According to SoundSlam, a Linkin Park band member is set to make an appearance on a track from Young Buck's new album, Buck The World.

"...I got a record with me and a dude from Linkin Park, man. It's a versatile album, man."

While the "dude" from Linkin Park is unnamed, it's a fair assumption that Young Buck was speaking of Mike Shinoda, whose hip-hop solo-project Fort Minor toured with G-Unit in Asia last year. Various reports have Young Buck confirming Mike's involvement during recent radio interviews.

Buck The World drops March 20th, man.

I don't even know who Young Buck is... man.

I hope he won't appear only as a producer on the track.

I take this back now that I've found out who Young Buck is. I'm not THAT eager to hear Mike's new shit :)

I'm sorry, but thats horrible news. An awesome collaboration would be with Kanye West, not someone like Young Buck. -_-

Worst news ever. Mike should know better than to be associating himself with this garbage. Hopefully Mike only really produces the track. Cause he'd kill Young Buck lyrically and thus make buck look like a fool.

And I love the way you dissed Buck in the news post Mark, man.

I like the fact that I am going to be able to hear new stuff from Mike but I hate the stuff G-Unit is putting out. G-Unit is made up of a bunch of shit rappers who live of 50 Cents' (who also sucks) popularity. I liked that mike did stuff with Lupe Fiasco who is a great artist, but Young Buck? I dont know about this.

I think this is an accomplishment for Mike if he produced the track and even more of one if he raps on the track he produced. He has taken his "side project" hip-hop music to another level. Buck's sales will be more than The Rising Tied and Lupe's F&L combined (based off Buck's past album sales and already present fan base), so with that math, the amount of people listening to Mike's "hobby" music is greatly expanding and the potential for new fans has grown a ton. I understand that the whole G-Unit camp aren't the best artists and include some of my personal least favorites out there, but this is a great opportunity for Mike. Working with Young Buck will also expand the potential for Mike working with more and different artists. What I mean by that is the difference in music a Lupe Fiasco makes and a Young Buck makes. Mike's hip-hop credibility has risen and I believe this is another step for him to help keep him in the hip-hop industry.

Although I'm glad to hear new stuff from Mike I wonder why is he appearing on a track of a man who knows 10 words besides "man"? Who the hell is Young Buck? Another shadow of 50 cent tring to go solo??I hope this is just a joke!MAN.

Its obvious you've never heard more than 3 Young Buck songs, probably none. Young buck shouldn't be associated with G-Unit because Buck > G-Unit and even Mike Shinoda as a rapper.
