With there being one week until the new season of 24, I'd thought I would make a new thread for the new season. Here's the thing though, for those of you lucky, FOX is releasing the first 4 episodes with the first act of episode 5 on DVD the following day after the episodes premiere on FOX. Little did they know that the episodes have leaked out on torrent sites. Yeah, great move FOX. So, yeah go ahead and discuss the season. [warning: WILL contain spoilers]
Yah I just got the episodes burnt to a DVD, gonna watch em later this week. Will get back to you after I watch em. I have heard that its a pretty wicked start and better than most of the seasons. But I must admit last seaosn was pretty awesome but then the season got progressively worse. Hopefully this one will stay strong the entire season. Edit: Oh god I jsut watched the first episode and ya, it is pretty damn sweet. Really love how they wrote that in. Cause by the previews I thought I would be so dissapointed. But this is looking to be pretty sweet, hopefully it continues.
Yah after watching the first four episodes I think this is one of the best first four episodes in this series.
So yeah, last night's episode was amazing. I guess people should be aware that there's going to be hella spoilers in this thread. Jack's losing his mind! The Chinese trained him to be a vampire! And I own the exact mp3 player the terrorist used to blow up a bus. I laughed at "There's no time!". No episode of 24 is complete without that phrase. This season looks very promising.
Yeah, last night's episodes were pretty awesome. It's kind of funny, Jack hearing that raspy voice off of him, but next episode he's yelling like a bat out of hell Plus, him chewing that guy's throat out. Best. Death. Ever. I did hear though that tonight's episode (according to another 24 thread that I go to) that What you saw in the previews for tonight's episode about something shocking happening...someone's gonna die! Main character death. Although I didnt get who, which is a relief I'm pissed though that FOX is releasing these 4 episodes on DVD tomorrow. Yeah, ruins some of the fun for people who want to wait.
You know how in movies the black guy always dies first? Well, that happened tonight. It's not like Jack had much choice, though. And there's 4 more of those things! What the frick?!
Holy shit, like the final 10 minutes of that episode was like...I gained my composure back like 30 minutes after that episode aired
On a sidenote for those of you who watch This Hour Has 22 Minutes. The terrorist that Fiyed was looking for at that prison is Shaun Majumder.
He's from Newfoundland, that's huge news for us. My legs started to shake during the last five minutes of the episode. Jack's breakdown was heart-wrenching.
Whoa dude, I don't think anyone saw Graham being Jack's brother. Blew my mind. Can't wait till next week. It's going to be a family reunion....OF DEATH!
Yeah. Found an awesome site. http://www.bauercount.com It's basically note of every kill or whatnot that Jack has done throughout the entire series. The cool thing is, is that there is video of every one of them too. From Jack's clip emptying kill of Victor from Season 1, right up to the neck bite this season and Curtis's death.
OK...I'm not a big fan of 24 but... can you help me get to know the show. I mean is each episode like one hour in real-time and one hour in the show?
The jugular bite is the defining moment in 24 kills, in my opinion. Victor's death is definitely up there, though.
I liked Ted Cofell's killing. Mainly because of the emotion and distress in Jack's actions and expressions.
