Ugh, just putting the finishing touches on my new forum, new skin should arrive in a few days but the doors to the forum are finally open.

Yeah i know :'( but i really wanna do this and hope people join, when i turn 16 am gonna start working and then i can get a proper domain, but right now i'm stuck being 15 and penyless, unless your willing to pay for all the fees for 6 months?

And yeah i think it's a rule on LPA that your not allowed to advertise, i can't remeber that sorta stuff since i never thought i would have needed to use it and i read it like 2 years ago lol.

 

I just turned 16, but I've been in the forums 'industry' (lol, couldn't think of a better word) for a while now. 3-4 years? First I started out on InvisionFree, then a year later, I got my own domain name. Back then IPB was still freely downloadable (and 2 of the admins here worked there [they were unknown to me at the time]). I was hosted off friends, although I was moving around for a while since I couldn't find anyone reliable. Someone had bought me a domain, out of niceness -- which is about to expire in a few days finally, sadly. Then a year after that, I got $15 and mailed it off to a domain registrar to buy my domain, themoki.com. Actually, prior to that, I sent $200CND to IPS (company of IPB) for my Lifetime license (support+upgrades for life; now discontinued). Because of that, I don't need to worry about any license changes or anything [no, not planning on selling it any time soon. And if I do, I've seen some sold for $400, so yeah]. I've been hosted with a friend of mine in the UK for 2 years now, and he's been great to me.

And that's my life in a nutshell, pretty much. Total spent: $215CAD and any sanity.
