well then again, its a point of view kind of thing, some people (such as myself) have just too much dignity to play for a "inferior" league in exchange for big amounts of cash...
But then again, what does he have to play for? He's achieved his lot, you know, and he's played in major leagues, so I guess its time to go to a nice cosy place far away from a lot of the media tension, as Dean said, he could get in England with a nice fat paycheck and retire in style. Anyway he's reached the end of his international career, wether he himself agrees or not, so why refuse?
I think Beckham should have stayed in the international squad. Yes he's nearly 32 now but aren't we forgetting how vital he's been for England over the years. Without him we wouldn't have even gotten into WC 2002. I think he knew that his international career was over though and therefore decided to quit from the big leagues, I think had he no been dropped he may have stayed at Madrid or maybe moved on to another European team.
