Don't worry men, you'll be there until either Bush is out of office, or you die -- whatever comes first. *shakes head*
What happends if you break a leg before you get send to Iraq? Do you still get send out when your leg is fixed?
yep, or else you will have no unit left to work for in the USA, cause the rest of your unit is in iraq
Heh, I'm not really familiar with the rules of elections Anyway, don't vote republicans or whatever they're called
Christ guys, impatient much? Hi, I was at school and then I was busy sleeping. Anyway. He's got the right idea securing the areas. 21,500 troops is a lot, but at least we won 't have the same problem of getting an area secured, moving on and then having it go to shit once the troops leave.
The problem is, it's bound to go back to shit once they leave anyways. All it takes is a group of people with similar ideals in mind. I'm sure there's a group on the downlow right now planning it all out, looking all innocent, and with no background that could even hint to it, just waiting for the troops to be pulled out. A lot can happen if you're determined. Especially while the country's particularly weak with only the armies holding it up.
No he doesn't have the right idea. Getting the fuck out of there is the right idea. It's clear they don't want us there, don't want peace, and don't want democracy. If they want to blow themselves to hell, let them. It's not our problem and not worth the lives of our troops.
But then, if the troops leave, and suddenly havoc breaks loose, the US will look bad because they were originally trying to prevent that from happening.
As if we've prevented anything so far.... Besides, with the exception for about 35% of Americans, pretty much everyone in the entire world is against this war and would be glad to see the US get out. I'd rather see the US accept defeat with dignity than stay and just cause more embarassment for this country.
The U.S. will look bad for pulling out of Iraq? How can the U.S. look any worse, really? They had no right to invade Iraq in the first place, so why does this mean they have no right to leave a place they should have never been to in the beginning? He's sending many of those 21,500 troops to their deaths for no justifiable reason and it's just completely ridiculous. Bush should just realize this is an unwinnable war, and that the future of the Republican Party in 2008 or his personal "legacy" does NOT take priority over the lives of the brave men and women who want to serve their country, yet who are being betrayed and ordered to die for no just reason. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy is going in the shitter because of this unnecessary war. The money spent on the war could have bought tax payers gas for a year! Imagine what else good could have been done with it!
Touche. It would have been better if it had never happened in the first place, but now that they're in their they can't just make a mess and leave it. Then again, nothing better they can do they, as obviously they are terrible at peacekeeping. It's a lose-lose situation. Nice going, Bush.
