After months of 'construction' at the official Linkin Park website, the background scenery has now officially been changed to the steel framework of a building, rather than the construction site we have seen over the past few months. Could this mean the new Linkin Park website may be appearing very shortly?

To check out this interesting update at lp.com, as well as possibly draw your own conclusions from the update, please head on over to http://www.linkinpark.com *

*Note: Since the new Linkin Park website is very flash heavy it may not load properly on older computers. A newer computer plus DSL/Cable internet access is highly recommended for the best viewing experience.

Thanks to Ronin for the tip!

Maybe it's symbolistic of progress on the new album? i.e. the construction site meant it was still getting put together, and now we're seeing the framework of a building that could mean the 'construction' is almost complete :D

As well as a new site design, who knows!

    Looks really cool. :D

It's amazing how long we've been waiting for this album and still get excited every time we see something new.

I was just thinking today, that we won't get new material (and closer to the release date) until the site is updated.

Hopefully when the site is done the album title will be posted on it, and hopefully we won't have to wait just as long for the next step in construction.

Has anyone thought of decompiling the SWF? I found something interesting behind the wooden boards.

    http://www.15cpw.com/
with a NY (212) phone number [which I won't post in full in public, due to privacy reasons]

Looking through the actionscript, I also see something about emails and AIM. Oo Still looking through...

Lots of empty sprites too, with actionscript coded for them, weird.

Heh, don't mind me, just a bored hacker, that's all. :p

ok, maybe im a bit TOO deep into the whole new album thing, BUT!

did anyone recognize the blinking lights on the building? well, i counted them and there are 83 (+ - 5). well, assuming that these lights might be the days until the release date, that would make early april... just a thought, we have to keep an eye on them...

*cant believe i really counted them*

tumtram, you're a crazy bastard. i highly doubt the lights have anything to do w/ the release date. :) but good try.

and that was awesome to see that quick clip of Meteora on the wayback archive thing. brings back some good memories :) damn, that was a long time ago. 4 years dudes! i was still a junior in H.S. and now i'm getting close to graduating college :p
