Ooooh cool name :D I think Hallow is like a saint, because halloween means "all saints eve", so maybe the book title means "deathly saints". Meh, just a thought lol.
Cant wait till the book comes out :D

Hallowed is like Holy. I thought Halloween really meant Hallow's End or "The End of Holiness".

Not sure about the name though. I didn't think Harry Potter had so much to do with theistic ideas.

Hallowe'en is All Hallows Eve which is the day before All Saints Day. I'm pretty sure anyway haha.

Anyways. Sounds like it could be interesting.

For some reason, I've lost all interest in HP. But it doesn't mean I won't be checking this one out...

A hallow is a spirit or ghost. In medieval times, it was thought to be when witches talked to the devil and ghosts walked.

Doesn't it mean 'holy', or something like that, as in the 'hallowed be thy name' in the Our Father? Might be two different connotations or something, I dunno.

Odd...I always thought it was referring to that time of the year when we're supposed to dress up and get candy.

I used to really be into the series when I was younger. I kind of grew out of it past the fifth book, but I got the sixth book to find out who died, and, when I figured out who died before I had really gotten into it, I stopped reading. I need to read it.

oh.. when is the fifth movie coming out?? I want to see it as soon as posible..

And I didn't like Harry and Ginnie (wrong spelling for sure) getting all hooked up in the 6th book... eww

So what's gonna happen in the 7th book?

I'm thinking Hallows = Harry's Parents/Sirius? Not too sure, the titles are always confusing, I can't wait till it comes out, though.

I didn't think of that one before. Although, it's the Deathly Hallows, so perhaps the Deatheaters?

    Do you ship Harry/Hermoine?

Haha, my days of strolling through FanFiction.net come back to haunt me.

I swear, that place was absolutely addictive. I've probably read all the Sirius stories they have there.

I think whoever mentioned something about Harry's parents was spot on...I remember reading about The Hallows in connection with James and Lily's deaths (though I hope it wasn't on FF.net, lol)...anyway, that has just opened a whole lot of new new of prospects for this book.
I hope the stinky rat dies first, though. Now that's something I'd enjoy.

The book is called "Deathly Hallows" not ''Deathly Hollows''. And the place he's (probably) gonna visit is Godric's Hollow. Get it? So, I really doubt that it has something to do with that. :)
