    Random thought: The postal service sucks:

    I ordered some textbooks online. The transit times of 3 of them I found rather interesting.

    Textbook #1 was shipped on December 18 from Hannibal, MO. It arrived at my house in Chesterfield, MO, today, December 21. Approximate distance travelled, according to Google Maps, 96.6 miles.

    Textbook #2 was shipped from Slippery Rock, PA on December 19, a whole day later. It also arrived at my house today. Approximate distance travelled, according to Google Maps, 651 miles.

    Textbook #3 was shipped from Miami, FL on December 18, same day as the book that only had to travel 96 miles and remained within state lines. It also arrived today. Approximate distance travelled, according to Google Maps, 1,237 miles.

    All 3 were shipped using the same method, Media Mail. It seems that if you want anything you mail to arrive quickly, make sure it has to travel halfway across the country.

    Neither. My mom remembered that my dad's new wife was wife #3. Some when the last called asking for Sarah, my mom answered her with that. lol
