If you've watched HBB in the past few weeks (only me probably, haha) then you'll know that Revolver magazine and them asked the fans to vote on the top 15 Metal videos of the year and they've released the list in Feb. 07's issue of the magazine (which has Tim from AILD, Ryan from Demon Hunter, Spencer from Underoath, and the lead guy from Norma Jean on the cover). All I can say is, it's a list...people are going to agree and disagree. Most will disagree...including me (and most likely Franny if he replies) . 1.) Dir En Grey - Saku 2.) Atreyu - Ex's and Oh's 3.) PM5K - Wild World 4.) Dragonforce - Operation Ground and Pound 5.) As I Lay Dying - The Darkest Nights 6.) All That Remains - This Calling 7.) Unearth - Giles 8.) A7X - Seize The Day 9.) Every Time I Die - The New Black 10.) Trivium - Anthem (We Are The Fire) 11.) Lamb of God - Redneck 12.) Cannibal Corpse - Make Them Suffer 13.) Black Dahila Murder - Statutory Ape 14.) Iron Maiden - Different World 15.) BFMV - Tears Don't Fall My Two Cents: Yeah, it's pretty much a shitty list. I don't mind the #1 slot even though I haven't heard or seen the song in action, I am shocked as fuck to see it clinched the top spot. Dragonforce should've SO been the #1 video out of this, followed by Redneck. #2 and #3 should be either lower or completely off the list since the videos both suck. Yeah, as you can tell I hate fan voting on anything.
I agree with you... I'm pissed off that they put Lamb Of God so low on the list. And Dragonforce should definitly be #1. Basically, the whole first 3 are messed up. Ex's And Ohs shouldn't be on that list. I haven't heard #3. Saku is an okay song/video, I like it I guess, but I can't believe it's number one.
A7X's video for Seize The Day shouldn't be on there either... if any video of them should be on there it's Bat Country. Don't really care about lists of best clips actually.
There are only 5 songs on there that are half decent, so it's bullshit. Although, Revolver is probably the best metal magazine out right now.
cool, every time i die is on this list. the only band i really like too. i never knew they made a video for that song.
Alright, I don't dislike A7X as much as my last post may have suggested... but what's so distasteful about that guitar solo?
