    Favorites:

Metalcore- Trivium (Pre-Crusade), As I Lay Dying, Unearth

Thrash-Metallica (Pre-Black Album, of course), Slayer, Trivium (I'll say The Crusade is Thrash)

    Death-Nile, Behemoth

Deathcore-As Blood Runs Black, Job For A Cowboy

That's all I can think of right now.

I got some songs by them and yeah, Pantera's Pantera they're brilliant. :p

I'll look up some of As I Lay Dying's older stuff too. (I checked out their myspace and I don't like metalcore so... but maybe their older stuff.)

FUCK. I forgot to mention Nile under my death list. and I thought The Crusade would've been really really really good if it didn't have melody.

you should listen to Death (the band).

    Fucking groovy, isn't it?

I think that's the only thing he listens to

    What? Amon kicks ass.

It's like City of Evil by A7X...better if it was a different band

Another awesome metal band: Unearth, their new album is awesome.

    1) tru dat
    2) Matt Heafy should've been the vocalist on CoE
    3) The Oncoming Storm was way better, but Giles is a fucking good track

it's impossible to not groove along to Vulgar Display of Power.

1.) Sancitity of Brothers also owns you.
2.) True on the VDOP statement. Also goes good with 5 Minutes Alone.

I do. Though I'm not a fan of the vocals, but they're growing on me. I'm obsessed with The last with pagan blood at the moment  But I listen to stuff like Tyr (DON'T search for them on youtube, they seem to only realease crap songs as singles. go to www.tyr.net and listen to 'Wings of time' in their discography section) who sort of blend folk music with metal, but without folk instruments. They basicly take traditional folk songs and metal-ise them, and sometimes translate them to english.

Can't speak for Frail Words Collapse, but Beneath The Encasing of Ashes is a direct rip-off of Blood and Fire and Liberate Zao.

Hmmm, right now I'm into Opeth, Zao, As I Lay Dying(their first album is a complete rip off), Darkest Hour, Emperor, Hatebreed and The Human Abstract.

And I'll take it that the new Suffocation is Good? I'll probably buy that.

I'm currently really digging a band called Sahg, which is made up of ex-Gorgoroth members, and a few prominent members of the Norwegian black metal scene. They're sludge metal, and their album, "I", is one of my top albums for 2006.

I'm also really feeling Gorgoroth's latest disc, "Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam".
