And I'm flying that day too...it'll be fun to see if the 'plane starts up in that cold

 

I know how cold a car gets in that weather, I'm frightened to think about how cold a plane does!

I'm gonna skedaddle now- biology notes to be made and five chapters to be memorised, and I don't want to be caught on the internet. Goodnightz0rzes!

Upside: Fun as hell, rewarding in the long run

Downside: Do YOU have 50 grand to spend on a career that, for the first five years or so, pays maybe 35K/year?

 

Not to mention, if your in the air and an engine craps out....Crap.

 

Naw, from 10,000 feet, you have over ten minutes before the ground starts to become a real concern, and not to mention about 30 miles of glide distance to play with...so unless you're breaking air regulations and bombing across the Great Lakes in a piston single (stuuuuuupid), you should have no trouble finding somewhere within that 30mi bubble to put 'er down in
