I got my new screen the other day, and I decided to replace it last night. Thought you guys might want to see a broken screen. Looks pretty interesting, but too bad you can't see anything through it. Now I have to figure out what to do with it, hmm. Also wondering what the black substance is. Oo Oh, and I ran into a slight problem upon putting my iPod back together. When I try to put the battery ribbon cable back in, the 8 pins (4x2 formation) keep moving around. Any ideas?
Hah, my phone screen looks like that. Lesson the first: don't throw the phone backwards over your shoulder in the airplane because someone's calling you while you're on finals. D'oh
lmfao, that's why it's possible to turn off the ringer on your phone, without actually turning off your phone, Joe. Any ideas about the battery pins?
Hah, it's louder than hell in the Cruiser, so it's not like the ringer bugs me. It's more the fact that there's a damn phone vibrating against my damn leg while I'm trying to coax 2000 pounds of metal down to a concrete strip at 100mph that's a bit aggravating No clue on the pins though, sorry
Ah, I had a feeling it might be that. Wasn't quite sure. Joe - Hah, now, put a girl in your situation...lmfao, that'd plane go nose down.
I take my ipod video apart when I'm bored... its not difficult. I used to do the same with my 60gig photo before I sold it. lol
