If you saved your contacts on your hard drive, do a search for any .ctt files and then load them into MSN. Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you to do.

Your password was probably very weak, or your hint question was easy to guess. Remedy the problem for the future.

You mean someone figured out your password.

Go and change your password, and secret question/answer ASAP.

    Still doesn't mean it's hacked.

Just change your password, and don't be an idiot next time.

Regularly change your password and puts numbers in it aswell, makes it harder for hacking programs, and also use common sense.

Minimum 14 characters, include letters, number and symbols. Make it complex, should NOT be something common that can be linked to you (so it can't be guessed by anyone) and for heaven's sake, please don't use "password".

Unless you can get back into your old email address, there's nothing you can do.

    Contact MSN asap.

I don't know how long it takes for those kind of emails to be replied to.

Just out of curiousity's sake, what link did he send you?

That might explain a lot. Well, at least now you know what to look out for.

Just make sure that you get them to reset your password, or shut down the account for you.

Good luck, hopefully not too much damage is caused.

If you have any other things connected to that email (Paypal, forums, etc) get them changed immediately.
