New contest time. I'm thinking of a word. It's a well known word, but one that has only been used one time in this forum's entire history. This word will bestow onto whoever guesses it a prize, be it grand or miniscule, depending on how long it takes them to guess it. Each week, I will give one more clue as to what the word is, but with each hint, the prize becomes less and less significant. Will you unlock the mystery word and reap the benefits? Only time will tell. Use your wits and cunning. The Rules Anyone (except staff members, the prizes mean nothing to you) with over 500 posts is eligible to play. No sign-up required. Words can be guessed in this thread, or can be included in any post you make. Each day, I will do a search of the forums for that specific word to see if anyone has posted it. You can guess an unlimited amount of times as long as you're not double posting or "flooding" with guesses (i.e: copying and pasting every 9-letter word in the English language into a Random Thoughts post). I'm not really expecting anyone to guess the word out of nowhere with no clues, so I'll give you two to start you off; Hints (As of September 16th, 2006) 01. The word is between 11 and 13 letters long. 02. The word begins with one of the first 13 letters of the alphabet, and ends with one of the last 13 letters of the alphabet. 03. The word is a noun. 04. The word has 5 vowels, with no "E" or "Y". 05. The word is a living thing. The contest will go for 18 weeks until December 31st, 2006. If the word hasn't been correctly guessed by then, then you all suck. Each week will make the word more and more obvious, so I don't forsee that happening. This may sound dumb.. but which letters do you consider the 13 first/last? Because the Czech alphabet is different from the English one O__o
Yeah, we have. All thanks too Mark Tomi pwned me twice. The first one the top 10 posters in RT6 couldn't post in RT7 which was opened around that time until 1000 posts were made in it. The others could bet on who wouldn't last that time. The prize was that the losers got a message in their sigs from the winners. The second one everybody who entered couldn't post "the" or "and" in any post they made. At the end only Dave and I were left. We had to post everything in a certain pink and post "Mark is a sexybeast" once a day. Then Tomi tricked me into posting "the" so I lost and Dave won. Then Dave could choose a name for a special banner. That's were the Mathsquad came from...

Can you count past 8? Besides, "g" isn't one of the last 13 letters of the alphabet. I'm not going to be correcting every word from here on out, so you guys are on your own to mess up.
