Due to my love of trance music ( as well as LP), i was just curious about something. Does anyone one on the forums currently rave, used to rave, or been to a rave? also, does anyone preform Poi, glowsticking, or glow stringing? * to those who have no idea what im talking about, check out this link, explaining everything http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rave im asking just to see if anyone is invloved in this type of crowd. I'm a little interested into raving, but not into the drug usage. just dancing.
YOU.....ROCK..... any favorite sub-genre? progressive,eruo,gabber....etc personally, i love epic, hardstyle, driving, and progressive.
I haven't really figured out the sub-genres yet, I just got into trace recently. I'm slowly populating my music library with it, but I love Tiesto, Benny Bennasi and the Chemical Brothers. I know there's still a lot more artists that are possibly even better. There's still lots on my to-'obtain' list.
If you love the hard stuff they have, download/get the Sensation Black. If you like trance and stuff, get Sensation White.
my gift for going into college is going to sensation black with my brother. hes the one paying for it, and hes somewhat into trance. im dying to go to the creamfields and ibiza as well. one of my friends ( who is a raver ) is hopefully going with me, but i gotta learn the rave scene 1st.
I'm a big trance fan. But that may be because I know a bunch of DJs and I get free samplers and previews of albums. But yeah, trance rocks. I used to liquid to the music, but I suck.
I don't know if he's a trance dj but he's supposed to be a really good DJ, if you ask the majority of people over here. So look him up. DJ Coone.
*countdown to Holiday finding this thread* 3...2..1... Never been, but wanna give it a shot one of these days.
you are probably 10 times better than me, and liquid is pretty cool. i have to have fast paced music to really get me moving. tracing is weird, but i really want to get into glowstringing. its tough, but bad ASS. check out this vid of glowstringing. its really insane. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZygYjZjk2C4 watch the entire thing to really understand it. its friggin awesome.
Fuck, that's insane. For those of you UKers, I have a friend who owns a few clubs down there. http://www.xtremepromotions.org/ Might be of interest to you guys, DJ Jay C.
I've been to about two or three raves when I went to Brazil two summers ago. It was amazzinnggg. I would would definently go to one again. If I can find any that is, my town's pretty small and there's not much to do.
awesome! they have alot in houston though. i live in irving, so i'd imagine they have some in dallas. im trying to hold a rave either at my house, or a building. not public, just to friends.
