You know, whether Hulk vs. Orton happens at summerslam or not there are still some decent matches taking place: WWE Champioship John Cena vs. Edge World Heavyweight Championship Batista vs. King Booker 'I Quit' Match Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley Last Man Standing Undertaker vs. Great Khali Intercontinental Championship Kane vs. Johnny Nitro D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) vs. Vince and Shane McMahon And since it looks like Jeff Hardy is going to the smackdown roster I wouldn't be surprised if The Hardy Boyz vs. London/Kendrick is added.
Yeah, I also think that Summerslam is getting a decent card. Aren't the McMahons taking on DX too in some way or another?
I doubt there will be a Hardyz vs. London & Kendrick at Summerslam. Isn't it like, two weeks away? I think if they do have a match, it should ignite a fued because you can't get anything good going between two teams of their reputations in a few weeks... At least, anything good that is. Despite both teams being extremely over with the crowd, I think that it'd put both teams over well and hopefully start the tag division again because ever since I started watching again... I noticed there hasn't been much tag action going on.
Oh yeah I'll edit that. And Keaton a Kendrick/London vs. Hardy Boyz could happen very easily as there are rumours going around that Kendrick/London vs. Kash/Noble vs. Mystery tag team is happening at SS
Ah, well then. That would be something to see. Isn't Matt Hardy out though? I think I read somewhere he was suspended or took time off or something. Eh, we'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
Hahaha, yeah he does and that's what I thought. You can see pictures if you really want to here & here.
You like it really Andrea EDIT: I hope to god that this match actualy happens and isn't just a rumour: ECW World Championship - Extreme Fatal Four-Way Rob Van Dam vs. Sabu vs. Kurt Angle vs. Big Show
This isn't wrestling news per se, but according to a few sources (perhaps others have already reported/confirmed this), it seems that we could see a November (1st) release for Smackdown! vs. RAW 2007 on PS2, PSP and Xbox 360 (PS3 version is cancelled). Of course, release dates are never final until the last minute, so we'll see. I'm excited. Hopefully season mode is better than SvR06 and the new grapple system isn't a dud.
Season mode will last up to 5 years apparently with a champion story, challenger story or storyline story. The way this works is if you start season as a champion your goal will be to keep the title for as long as you can, if you lose the title you will drop into the challenger or storyline seasons. The grapple system has me worried though, I remember that Legends Of Wrestling had the same style of grappling system and it made the game truly terrible, lets hope THQ come up with something miraculous. Also the idea for the extreme fatal four way match at summerslam between Big Show, RVD, Sabu and Kurt Angle has been dropped. Instead, next week on ECW there will be a three-way ladder match between Angle, Sabu and RVD for the number one contender spot at Summerslam.
Haha, yeah I've been keeping up with SvR07 news since it was first announced. SvR06 was the first wrestling game I played since "Smackdown! Just Bring It"... What an improvement. But yeah, all the concepts being released lately sound promising, but I think the grappling system could make the game more of a simulation chore than a fun-filled wrestling game (in other words, less arcade-like and more simulation), which sometimes doesn't work out well. The season mode sounds awesome, though. I always like to play season mode with created wrestlers, so I'm hoping that these concepts they're promising are actually... promising, lol. Here's to hoping the release date doesn't change. The sooner the better, I say (assuming there are no bugs). But on wrestling discussion... Poor RVD. His first television appearance since suspension and he misses the Vandaminator... Or what ever it is called. I let out a mournful "ohhh..." when I saw that happen, then seeing Angle have to play it off as an actual hit, lol. Good times.
Good idea though that RVD decided to do the leg drop with the chair, that's when the ref rung the bell...smart thinking
Apparently there was a fire last night during the Hard Justice PPV. Nothing serious, not like Wayne's World type shit where the place explodes and Wayne goes "Why God?", no. Pyro went off wrong and caused a small fire that was put out during the Young/Devine match, surprisingly they let the match continue before evacuating everybody for a little while. They were eventually let back in and they had to cut the 4-way tag team match from the PPV which will probably be taped tonight when they do the iMPACT tapings, and will probably be aired this Thursday.
Dear god no...Vince is satan himself I think it would have been awesome if HHH was actualy revealed as the father on TV and he comes out with ''Hey Vince, I screwed your daughter''. It would be perfect for the DX angle.
OK most people know Chris Masters failed a drugs test for steroids right? Look at him now gone cold turkey... Significantly Less Muscle A very shocking picture...looks like the masterpiece is no more.
