Oh, total mental lapse on my part. I take off the top part of the crust, the rounded part from the top of the loaf, and leave the square edges and walls on it.
ahh okay. that's fine. because if you ripped all of it off, than it'd have so many jaggad ends and it'd just be all... unbalanced and unenjoyable.
HOW can anyone not eat the crust. Evil 6 year souled pink sloths of doom, you all are. I mean, it's just wrong not to eat the crust. Especially in tomato sandwiches. So squishy.
I don't always eat it, but I like to have it there just in case I'm still hungry when I'm done with the sandwhich.
throwing away crust is like saying you dont want any extra money you bought with your bread. it doesnt make sense to me but nonetheless! i like mine one, so i dont have to make another sandwhich to make me not hungry
Firebyrd= smart because Firebyrd <3 tomato sandwiches. You know, we should have a food thread to discuss important issues like these. And pasta sauces, and maggi.
I'm fine with the crust, but I ususally don't eat the ones at the ends of the loaf which is basically ALL crust and no chewy goodness. But yeah it has never really bothered me, crust.
I don't really think about it. My mom made me eat the crusts as a little kid and told me that it would make my hair curly. Twenty years and my hair is still relentlessly frizzy. NOT curly.
