Several teasers have been spotted by fans throughout Australia in the past day, fueling speculation of Linkin Park's return to touring in Oceania. These teasers all feature the same black backdrop with a website link, stylized as "BEPARTOFSOMETH.ING," in reference to the lyrics of "The Emptiness Machine" off From Zero. The link leads to a form to sign up for updates from the band.

Fans have noted the lack of Oceania dates on the band's schedule for 2024 and 2025, as well as the announced dates for 2026. These teasers, somewhat reminiscent of the billboards that popped up across the world prior to the announcement of the band's 2025 touring schedule, seem to suggest they will finally be returning to Australia at the very least. Linkin Park has not performed in the country since 2013, with their performances at Soundwave, a music festival that used to be held across several cities in Australia from 2004 to 2015.

These teasers also come not far ahead of the lineup announcement for the Good Things festival in Australia. Good Things is another Australian multi-site festival, held in early December, and will be hosted in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane—two of which have seen these teasers appear so far. It seems likely these may be related and Linkin Park could appear at the festival, extending their 2025 touring schedule even further than the current latest date at Mexico City's Corona Capital to perform at Good Things in December.

Will this be the momentous return of the band to Australia? Could New Zealand also see a visit from the band as they did in 2013 with Soundwave? Come discuss on our forums!

Don't want to have waited this long only to deal with a fest crowd, so hoping for sideshows, or to find out that they're not on the line-up at all and there will just be headline events

The question now is if they are announcing any festivals or otherwise for Australia will they announce for New Zealand at the same time, or will they tease it out? I Don't think my wallet will handle me purchasing for Aus just to buy for NZ too!

Good Things is doing their announcement on the 12th though. Would LP announce before the rest of the festival line up is announced?

Well, that does throw a spanner in the works, you're right

Could easily mean their Aug 11 and not ours. But, if it isn't connected to Good Things at all, then, there's no need to believe the two announcements need to line up

Or maybe it's both? They build out a few extra tour dates in Aus + NZ in addition to Good Things?

I don't think the fest is an absolute impossibility because of where the signs were spotted, and because the announcement date is so close to the GT line-up reveal. With Kevin pointing out that Live Nation has a hand in the tour, that guarantees headline arena events in my eyes

Honestly it would be absolutely stupid just to come over for a single show

I would also expect some NZ dates.

Well, it would theoretically be three dates if they're doing the festival, in addition to shows of their own.
