Man, you just BARELY missed the cutoff. I ordered and got the signed print just 6 minutes before you posted.
Jeez, and here I was wondering if I should have waited to order. I did not expect them to sell out that quick. Glad I impulsively pulled that trigger.
How do you tell what your order number is/was? Can I assume that WMC18250 I was order 250? I don't recall it being added to my card. I ordered at 10:09.
I like NMSA more out of the two songs. My favorite song so far is still Place to Start. It was really sweet seeing Mike with the fans. Probably was really good for his soul.
My order number is 0000000410...so I guess I'm assuming that I'm order number 410. I also see that my order was automatically uploaded to include "autographed photo print". You ordered a good 30 minutes before me so you should definitely be seeing that print in your order summary....
Lucky that I quickly pre-ordered the one with limited print. It says Order #17906-WMA. So am I 906th of the list?
Interesting...I created a saved account with Mikeshinoda.com. And my order history includes both todays purchase of Post Traumatic and my November order of One More Light Live.
I know it isn't the point of this thread, but I have a feeling PT is going to lay to rest the question "Can LP continue with just Mike?" We're only 5 tracks in but I think we can safely say the answer is "Yes." The songwriting is still there. LP will go on.
This. Of course, LP will continue for sure. I'm ready and open for a new era LINKIN PARK. bring it on! I think this album will be like a testing ground for Mike to see if the world is ready for the new era LP down the line. LINKIN PARK/Xero/Hybrid Theory is Mike's baby since 1996.
Missed out on the print all good album comes out on my birthday I’m so fucking happy! Love the new songs. Already album of the year for me.
It's amazing, isn't it? The man is so goddamn talented it's ridiculous. I'm loving everything so far. Videos are powerful and the songs are more so. Wow.
A couple things: 1. Mike including rough sketches for the fans to color in/do whatever with is THE cleverest shit for an album called "Post Traumatic," even if it might not have been the intention. Adult coloring books have popped up in recent years as a genuine way to relieve stress and help with art therapy. The idea of music therapy has been around for a while. The fact that Mike and the fans went through this huge loss together, Mike uses music to help unwind and re-organize his life, and he's literally passing that small amount of therapy onto the fans via the artwork and allowing them to participate. 2. I'm not as sure about "Linkin Park" continuing as I was before. Not because Mike can't sing (he can) or that there isn't a creative drive (there obviously is), but because it might just be time. In the KROQ interview this morning, Mike was much more on the fence about it than he was in the past. The band has stated an "intention" to continue, but intention and reality can be very different. The practical aspect of how to move forward is still a challenge, as Mike said. There's also Crossing A Line. The lyrics speak to this: The music video is also Mike with a bunch of LP fans reminiscing about the band/Chester at the place where the band got their official start. I'm not trying to come up with any sort of conspiracy theory about how Mike already knows for sure Linkin Park is over, but things seem a lot less set in stone than they did a couple months ago. I'm sure it goes back and forth a lot for the band members. I'll be satisfied either way.
