I'm a huge sports fan. I love to watch Football, Athletics, Swimming, Cycling, Track Cycling etc... also winter sports, it's really fun. Actually Football is the only commercialized sport that I like (parallel to my music taste btw ).
It makes me laugh when English people get annoyed at the word 'soccer' getting used instead of 'football'....when the word soccer originated from England
The word soccer is more used in America and Down Under, right? In Europe I´ve always heard the word football. What Americans consider Football for us europeans is American Football and Soccer is Football.
They say it because they already have American Football and Australian Football. Some people struggle to grasp this and actually get triggered by it
I know, I don´t like American Football, but I enjoy waking up early in the morning, tune in to Eurosport and watch a good AFL match. The Aussies just invented some good stuff.
