I found this very interesting quote from Thom Yorke about "Street Spirit".

The lyrics of the song are:

I never truly noticed how painful, how terrifying, how pure that song is. It's really a masterpiece for all times. And it sounds as crisp and clear today as it did then.

For those curious, here's the theme song for the new Transformers movie. Much better than the songs from LP and Imagine Dragons imo.

For me it doesn´t get anywhere near What I´ve Done, New Divide or Iridescent, I only watched the first Transformers movie because I knew LP was on the soundtrack, so I guess I´ll only watch Transformers up until the movie with the last LP song they made for the soundtrack.

I´ve seen the scores and the last Transformers movie has a very average IMDb rate, just 5,3, so it´s probably not that good.

I like the way Radiohead generally sounds, but the I can´t stand the singers voice, that´s a huge drawback of the band, in terms of sound I can understand why they´re so critically acclaimed, but if they would put for example Chester singing his songs and leaving the original sound it´d be much better. The way their songs might be good, but they always follow the same pattern, they don´t leave their comfort zone that much, do they?

The switch-ups between some of their albums are fairly drastic. "OK Computer" and "Kid A" are night-and-day in terms of sonics and dynamics

The funny thing is many of my favorite artists always mentioned how Radiohead are their biggest inspiration for starting to make music, but I was never interested in their music

Even Creep, the most famous Radiohead song doesn´t really appeal to me and they´re constantly being praised by the critics even though they are not that successful when compared to LP, Green Day or Coldplay.

Radiohead aren't primarily praised for their mainstream success or commercial accomplishments the way those acts you've cited are. That's not the metric the critics are thinking about with regards to them.

Apparently not, and they could never use that metric, could they? I saw their albums rank so high on 2000s best and apparently those who ranked forgot to place HT, Meteora and MTM much higher.

No, I don't think Linkin Park belongs on any top albums list with Radiohead.

    That will be all.

Radiohead has an extremely diverse catalog of music. And I don't know but I always found them pretty accessible. Especially the OK Computer and In Rainbows Album. Yes, Kid A or The King of Limbs might be difficult to get into at first, but the rest of the albums are pretty easy on ears. Please give them a full chance
And creep is nothing when compared to rest of their masterpieces. In fact, they kinda themselves hate it

I said in various posts that the thing I like most about them is the way the instruments sound, hopefully I´ll make amends with the way I see the vocalist.
