Charlotte is great. It starts off as a typically generic Slice of Life anime l, but about halfway through it becomes so much more than that. One of the most surprising anime in the last few years for sure. Your Lie in April is also a very sweet show. And if you're into realistic teen drama and relationship Aoi Hana is great as well. Recently I started watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood but I have since put that on hold because I had also started watching One Piece, and with over 700 episodes I feel I should catch up on it first, since FMA is already complete.
I found Charlotte to be ok, the last episodes just felt too rushed and that kinda ruined it for me, still a good Anime though. A few weeks ago I finally watched Kimi no Na wa and dang, it was a masterpiece in every way. I recommend it to everyone, go watch it now!
Watched 91 days recently, it was really good. It is a down to earth story about revenge story following a Mob of alcohol bootleggers during prohibition in America. It's a really refreshing show as there's zero gratuitous pervy fan service or standard anime bullshit. It goes for a very realistic tone, so there is not any characters wiith super powers or anything. They all feel authentically human. I guess the closest show I can compare it to is boardwalk empire.
The animes I like best are definitely Pokemon, that pretty much sums up my childhood of waking up early on weekends to watch it while playing the games at that time. I also enjoyed Shin Shan, Beyblade and Oliver and Benji a lot back in the day. Of newer stuff, I watched some Attack On Titan episodes and it´s pretty good. I never liked Naruto that much to be honest.
One Piece and Dragonball Super are going into nice directions in the moment. Cant wait for the next episodes.
i really like what they did to him in this arc. It finally feels like he isnt just behind Goku. And it seems we arent even finished yet with him.
I personally tired of Goku. He's like the male Phoenix, always coming back from the dead, over and over again.
One Piece is hands down the best shonen anime ever made. Sure, you can say it's just a silly show about pirates but it's really so much more. Main character Deaths are very, very rare but they are meaningful. They're never revived and have a lot of finality. The world building is masterful. Major plots can reference back from events that happen hundreds of episodes apart, that have been quietly building in the background. Each main character is well developed backstory and has an actual goal that they aspire to reach. A lot of plots are allegories/references to real life events and focus on social progress. From dealing with slavery, sexism, transphobia, and general cilvil rights. It also has a lot of political commentary about goverment. There are Original songs, that will attack your emotions. At times in this show you will cry. There's no escaping it! But most of all it is about having fun, and going on an adventure! Counterpoint: 800+ episodes. Counter-Counterpoint: Very little amount of filler. And After watching those 800+ episodes you'll instantly demand 800+ more.
As to Anime I have some that I enjoy quite a lot: Pokemon is my favorite hands down while others like Shin Shan, Yu-Gi-Oh, Attack On Titan, Beyblade are pretty good as well. Don't remember others, but I'm sure there are more I used to watch.
