So it's the last day of 2016, new music scheduled to be out in early 2017. I can't believe we're this close once again. I guess it's because they were the first band that I really followed closely, but a new Linkin Park album cycle has always been a really special thing for me. The wait may have been longer this time compared to the last two albums, but I still can't believe that it's been two and a half years since we've gotten new LP music. I genuinely can't wait to hear what they've cooked up for us this time.
When does that Martin Garrix collab drop? Did it get trashed? I know it leaked all the way back in August.
Every time I open LPA these days: Linkin Park announces (OMG! News about new album! Super excited for one micro second)... show in Santiago... oh, okay :I
I told someone today that LP is my favourite band, to which they replied "oh I like them too!" I made the mistake of asking if they liked any of the recent stuff. This was the reply "I liked the Numb album, but after that they became poppy feminists so I stopped listening"
LOL "feminists" I hadn't heard that one before. Anyway, I can't believe people still think like that. Were they 13 when Minutes got released and never bothered to revisit their attitudes toward the album?
Ah yes, the well known feminist period of post-Meteora Linkin Park, with world famous hits such as "Castle of Glass Ceilings" and "Waiting for the End (Of The Patriarchy)".
when i sleep i dont dream anymore. this is weird i supposed to have nightmares but this time nothing..
This has been known to happen if you frequently participate in aimless discussions about Linkin Park.
Was 2016 the first year without a Linkin Park concert? Like even before or after their album cycles they usually have one-off shows and all.
Yup 2016 is the only year (as far as I'm aware) since the band started that they haven't played a show
