I've seen the first season of Rebels, and the first 3 eps of season 2. It's really great man! Definitely worth your time. It's done by the same guy who did The Clone Wars.
I've heard it's just like the first season of The Clone Wars, which I'm not fond of. I only really liked TCW once it started getting into the moral dilemmas of the actual Star Wars universe, such as with the inhibitor chip arc or the arc where it subtly suggests that maybe the Separatists aren't the bad guys with the Bonteris. The beefy stuff with lots of substance and depth...definitely not anything from the first season other than the Malevolence arc because, dammit, the Malevolence was cool.
M83's "Junk" gets better with every listen, just damn. I have a heavy bias towards anything synth-pop and electronic, so this might be my favorite album of the year so far and I've listened to quite a few. It's like funk meets snyth-pop. Surprised to see a lot of fans find this album disappointing, it's almost perfect at what it tries to be imo.
Yeah but there's a few parties coming up, and... well, you don't look awesome in sweatpants with a Deftones CD hanging out your pocket.
Lmao. I fucking love Max Landis.
Could someone please kindly recommend me some death metal and black metal music? Not that the two are the same, obviously they're not. But they're the two genres I'm starting to get into now. I'm completely new to listening to extreme metal, so please bear with me. My favorite artists so far have been Behemoth, Death, Possessed, Watain. I can't find much that I really like, because a lot of what I've listened to is honestly not good. I can handle very extreme music, so don't be afraid to go crazy with the recommendations. I'm really excited to listen to more.
My taste in Metal has always been on the Prog side, rather than Death or Black, but I'll try to give some recommendations. I'll provide a song to preview for each album I list. I'll probably think of more later. * = Albums to check out first Death Metal: Black Crown Initiate - Song of the Crippled Bull: Stench of the Iron Age Gorguts - Colored Sands: Le Toit de Monde Obscura - Akróasis: Sermon of the Seven Suns Extreme Metal: Devin Townsend Project - Deconstruction: Deconstruction Strapping Young Lad - City: Velvet Kevorkian / All Hail the New Flesh * Triptykon - Melana Chasmata: Breathing * Black Metal: Batushka - Litourgiya: Yekteniya 1 Panopticon - Autumn Eternal: Into the North Woods Opeth, more than anything, are a Progressive band.
