It's not groundbreaking, no - it's a generic festival-friendly melodic house track - but the thing is that it doesn't suck! As much as this clip can tell us
I like it also, but aside from Mike's vocals it sounds just like a generic House track. ALTNC and DTB had more unique, special elements, imo. Just skip a bit through the video, the instrumental from this track could have easily been replaced by almost every other instrumental from the whole concert. That's not my cup of tea, to be honest. Nothing sounds particulary remarkable. But it will still be listenable from time to time in my music collection, as I don't have much EDM in there anyways, especially with LP vocals.
It sounds nice. Not a huge fan of EDM, but I dig this. Ever since hearing him sing in 'Burning in the Skies' for the first time, I've always loved Mike's vocals. (I don't really count 'In Between' ... No More Roads is aight doe) It's nice to actually hear the progression he's made.
Am I the only one that thinks this will be released as a "feat. Linkin Park song" I mean both songs by Aoki that featured both Chester and Mike did have said label. And to me it's pretty obvious that Chester is also part of the track.
Speculating? Of course Chester is in the track. Really clear with that "counting" line for example Melody is catchy, but that's pretty much the only thing about it.
It'd be so funny if we were all completely wrong and the vocalist(s) isn't anyone from Linkin Park at all
It s not bad at all , if there would be a bridge with Chaz singing " i ' m counting down the light " similar to DTB last chorus 'd be awesome
Full HD version of the song here (starts at 10mins 25 seconds) Chester is defo in the chorus, although Mike is much more prominent. I look forward to hearing this live later in the year!
I cannot confirm. I actually like this. Seems a lot more interesting vocally than the Aoki tracks. I can dig it.
