No, that is 100% Chester. Both voices are singing in unison. Sounds exactly like their doubled vocals on Castle of Glass, Darker Than Blood, etc.
Its a bit hard to tell 100% who exactly is singing what (other than Mike), but I have to agree that I thought Chester was definitely harmonizing in there. On a side note, great song! Hooked already. If I'm listing my favorites among the 3, gonna have to go 1. Darker Than Blood 2. Waiting For Tomorrow 3. A Light That Never Comes
Waiting for the light that never comes sounds much more powerful than Waiting for tomowrrow. However, I looooove those verses. Nice build up as well. The full track is going be a fun listen.
Love it! More electronic leanings, please. Actually, how about a full album of rocktronica? Sounds like Chester on back-up vox.
I'm also going to make that prediction. People tend to subconsciously fill in the gaps when listening to recorded live versions of songs that simply do not/will not exist in the clean studio version.
If you listen to the "tomorrow" at 11:04 it's pretty obvious that Chester is in there as well. Also, better quality
It's cool, but I'm a little surprised at how enthusiastic everyone is at this tbh. It's a nice build up, but the drop doesn't feel like anything special to me. Mike's vocal performance is nice, but at this point it's not really surprising to me that we would hear this kind of thing from him, after It Goes Through and DTB this doesn't feel all that ground-breaking. If that is Chester, it's a little weird that Mike's so much louder than him, but of course we haven't heard the actual mix. I'll reserve judgement until we have the actual track in-hand
