The more photos I see, the more excited I am. I'm very optimistic with this album, and I wish to hear a bunch of acoustic songs and more piano please. Get rid of electronic shit (Just kidding).
The way i see this, its going to be a longer journey, not like LT and THP, i say the single will come late may/early june, with the album arriving in October. It seems like with the approach they took to this album, is going to take more time to develop, but overall be a very quality album. Not saying other albums weren't quality, but with the mention of a late 2016 release, it seems like its going to be a bigger album/monumental in the bands career, just like mike stated in the interview with LPA.
It's going to be big since this time would be the 20th anniversary of the band (the time they started and formed the band Xero).
Few months won't make that big of a difference in my opinion... They would need to lock them self up (in a studio) for a long time, if we want to really hear some mind blowing stuff... But I don't get that vibe from them this time around.

Loved the firtst 3 minutes, then some weirdo appeared But seriously, i liked that one Also if it doesnt even said much.
Wow, I like it, especially the fact that Mike gave the outlook that he wants to do more such videos in the future, showing the process, maybe even playing music and so on. I think this time we will get more insight into the process of the album creation than ever before. Even right from the start, that's incredible! One thing I asked myself though... what... did Mike do with his hand the whole time??
I still have a feeling this will be the softest and most organic LP album yet. I'm probably wrong, but I like guessing. Prediction 1#: Little to no screaming on this album
Shinoda wasted a chance to talk about how a working BB-8 was sent out at various press events and premieres alongside the main cast EDIT: also ... acoustic gtr, piano, sparse electronics and soulful vocals? There's an album that I would absolutely love
Man, I keep imagining this acoustic album and getting really excited, but I have a feeling it's gonna be built up with guitars and electronics no matter what. I'm imagining a less heavy, less noisy living things part 2 right now.
I have no desire for sparse electronics but chill electro music would be super dope. It doesn't have to feel like an electronic album while using tons of synths. Lots of synth-chill music these days
I like the way they used synthetic elements in "The Little Things" so that's what I'm thinking of when I say that
I'm thinking in the lines of Odezsa and stuff though his description of music that he's listening to leans towards experimental industrial rather than chill
"Kid Cudi's new record is great." Why would he say this? Why would he blatantly lie like this? Why, Mike?
This is definitely the feel I've got as well. And it would make sense after "The Hunting Party". Some 180° switch again.
