I can hear the bass only in Papercut before the final chorus and in Forgotten during the bridge I'm very excited about the new album. I want them to experiment even more than ATS. I want a real album, not collection of songs. And finally, I don't care if the album is released early or later. Honestly, I prefer them to take their time and make a PERFECT album.
Album could be called Return 2 Rootz, with the old style logo and old skool graffiti artwork. The opening track would consist of smashing glass, a fuck load of distortion, scratching and start and end with "Mr Hahn" Every track should contain downtuned guitarz, with heavy ass bridges and a load more scratching. NU METAL RULEZ
Linkin Park will never return to some of their older stuff. Also no older rapping by Mike. I can see hat Hahn should be more involved again after THP, maybe Phoenix should also have some bigger parts in the song (or atleast some parts ). I dont really need any screams by Chester right now, but let us see what he will do vocally. First single in April is my thought.
Whether or not we get a great album depends on their approach to it. We know that they can do it. They may choose to take their time, create something timeless and blow everyone's minds, OR they can just hurry up and whip out something fast like LT and THP...
One part of my mind tell me that this sounds too good to be true, but the other part says... they shouldn't rush it, you know. Would anyone here actually prefer them to rush an album?
Album confirmed February 20th with the first copy being hand delivered to my house by Chester and Mike for my birthday
