Well, in their defense there, they're not playing for the exact same people every night. EDIT: also, you guys are right. Chester's screaming throughout the set is mostly pretty great. Also, the quality of the stream's A/V is pretty much top-notch.
Mike's verses in Rebellion sound weird. Also Chester is definitely struggling a bit here, not holding any screams/notes longer than he has to.
People at LPL seem to think Chester was feeling under the weather. I seem to agree. The last few concerts he's performed sick, the screaming was always still spot on if not better then usual while his singing faltered.
I don't know, to me, it seems pretty obvious he's sick. His movement is 0 compared to usual, he keeps his jacket on while he's usually performing topless, especially indoors, and he doesn't take the sunglasses off the entire set cause his eyes are probably all fucked up. You can't really blame a dude for not sounding his best.
Yeah, I definitely couldn't put that down to anything else but illness seeing as the band are only playing a few select shows rather tgan an extensive tour leg.
When Chester is sick, it is really obvious how much the band depends on him during most of the heavy lifting live. Both in terms of vocal performance and in showmanship. Luckily Mike has a few Fort Minor songs in between which gives Chester a break once in a while. But I have huge respect for Chester - The show must go on.
