"Especially for huge bands like Linkin Park, which have been touring non-stop around the world" lol ded
While the band's definitely quite popular among the more urban people here, barely anyone here buy music. And I think, it was Broman who explained it to me? Apparently, sponsors(?) need to see better numbers in sales for the band to play in a place. Maybe that's why, they're talking so long. I can't think of other reasons. If they do come here, I hope they go to atleast all the bigger metros. We're a big country. Besides, people can't really torrent concert tickets can they?
Finally watching a rip of the Rock In Rio performance -- "A Line In The Sand" is pretty much perfect, performance-wise, except for Shinoda's singing which is a little bit shaky.
It was just hard to listen to. Mike has been meh before, but that just made me cringe. I know it was a long song and everything, but I just could not bear it.
I think, more than anything, it's how much it contrasts with the rest of the performance, and how it ends the performance on a low note. No big deal, though. Good for a debut performance, all things considered
According to this study, it turns out that, among lyrics from popular rock acts between 2005-2014, Linkin Park's lyrics are "second most-sophisticated" ... second to Nickelback. To be fair, only "New Divide" and "What I've Done" were covered.
Nickelback has the most-sophisticated lyrics? wut? I mean, I usually like them, but they aren't really intelligent most of the time...
Wasn't sure where to post this, but during their Rock on the Range show, when they played Remember The Name, "NOV 24" flashed up briefly behind Mike. Screenshot New FM music confirmed? The Rising Tied was released on 22/11/05, so this coincides with the 10 year anniversary, but the fact that it's not exactly the same date makes me think that it has to be something more, right? Sorry if this has been posted already.
Both "The Rising Tied"'s release date and this one are on Tuesdays but, in the other thread, we concluded that albums come out on Fridays. Obviously, then, November 24 isn't an album release date. Could be a Columbus show on that date
I was very disappointed with LGM the first time I've heard it... which made LT a pleasant surprise because my expectations were so low... You did it to yourself.
